Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai arrived at the Kaduna State High Court on Tuesday to attend the continuation of his ongoing corruption trial. The former governor reached the court premises at approximately 11:50 a.m., ahead of the hearing scheduled for noon.

Notably, El-Rufai was accompanied by Isa Mohammed Ashiru, the governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The presence of the political figure alongside the former governor drew attention as the proceedings resumed.

Security was reported to be tight around the court facility, with personnel maintaining a strong presence to manage the area during the proceedings. The legal action against the former governor involves corruption and money laundering charges brought forward by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
This appearance follows a directive from Justice Darius Khobo, who had previously ordered the ICPC to ensure the former governor was produced in court for the resumed hearing.
