According to reports by Yahoo, it was a major Monday for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld. While the Bills secured a thrilling overtime victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, Steinfeld shared major career news earlier in the day.
Disney revealed the official trailer for Hexed, an upcoming animated film in which Steinfeld plays the lead starring role. Steinfeld voices Billie Doe, an impulsive and unconventional teenage witch who discovers secret magical abilities that send her into a vast witch realm called Hexe.
Star-Studded Cast and Mother-Daughter Dynamic
Disney released the trailer on October 12, announcing that Hexed hits theaters on November 25. The project features a star-studded cast, with Disney tagging Steinfeld alongside Walton Goggins and Rashida Jones. The plot follows Billie as she teams up with her cautious mother, Alice—voiced by Jones—to uncover family mysteries that could transform the witch world.
Steinfeld and Allen welcomed their daughter, Harper, in April. Speaking in an August interview with E! News, Steinfeld admitted that the role carries deeper personal significance following her experience becoming a mother. “The fact that this is a mother-daughter story is so special and it’s touched me so deeply,” Steinfeld said, adding that she is excited for her baby girl to see the film one day.
Cheering on the Bills in Los Angeles
Amid the promotional buzz for her upcoming movie, Steinfeld was spotted in the stands in Los Angeles supporting the Bills. ESPN cameras cut to the actress as Allen rallied the team to victory.
“Just didn’t feel like I was in a rhythm early… But I felt like in that second half I got into a rhythm. Guys made some plays. It’s awesome stuff,” Allen reflected after the game, according to ESPN.
With a successful film release heading into the holidays and a thrilling football win, the couple continues to succeed both on and off the field.
