Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman of the North Central Governors’ Forum, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, on Friday met with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Dr. George Akume, GCON, as part of ongoing engagements between the Federal Government and states across the North Central region.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Federal Government and the North Central states, while advancing developmental priorities for Nasarawa State and the wider region.
Discussions were held within the framework of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, with emphasis on coordinated efforts that can contribute to sustainable development, peace and progress across the region.
Governor Sule’s engagement with the SGF further highlights the commitment of the North Central Governors’ Forum to constructive dialogue, strategic partnership and closer cooperation with the Federal Government.
Such engagements are expected to support greater coordination among stakeholders and promote initiatives aimed at addressing developmental priorities across the North Central region.
The meeting comes as governments and stakeholders continue to explore collaborative approaches towards strengthening infrastructure, economic development, peace and regional integration.
