According to reports by Kotaku, several first-party PlayStation Studios games have suddenly disappeared from the PlayStation Store without prior warning. Players attempting to find titles such as Knack 2, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and God of War III: Remastered in North America have discovered that the games no longer appear in search results.

While the sudden removal has alarmed fans concerned about digital preservation, the delistings appear to be tied to a pricing error. In the case of God of War III: Remastered, reports indicate the game was recently listed on the Mexican PlayStation Store for an incorrect price of roughly 50 cents. It appears Sony temporarily pulled the titles offline while addressing the backend issues.

What This Means for Digital Owners

Fortunately, players who have already purchased these affected titles can still access and download them through their personal game libraries. However, the unexpected disappearance highlights ongoing anxieties surrounding the gaming industry’s gradual shift toward all-digital storefronts. Sony has previously signaled intentions to move further into digital distribution in the coming years.

As of reporting, Kotaku has reached out to Sony for official clarification on the matter. Fans hoping to replay classics like the Uncharted collection or Knack 2 will have to wait until Sony restores the titles to the storefront.
