Oyo Takes Delivery of Two Surveillance Aircraft

Ibadan, Oyo State Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has taken delivery of two surveillance aircraft as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s security architecture.The aircraft were received at the newly upgraded Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, one year after the governor announced their procurement.

According to the state government, the surveillance aircraft will improve aerial surveillance, intelligence gathering, and rapid response to criminal activities, especially in forests and other difficult-to-access locations.The initiative is expected to support ongoing security operations by enhancing the ability of security agencies to monitor and respond to threats across the state.Source: TVC News.
