Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has received the newly deployed Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Zungura, and outlined key demands aimed at restoring public confidence and peace in the state.

During the meeting, Adeleke urged the new CP to:

🔹 Overhaul police operational units accused of political bias
🔹 Strengthen police participation in the State Security Council
🔹 Release members of the Accord Party whom he described as political detainees
🔹 Stop what he called politically motivated arrests of party members

Adeleke also called for disciplinary action against the Ikire DPO following a recent police operation in which two people were reportedly killed.
